Ingredients:
True Chews come in a variety of flavors (turkey, chicken, sirloin, and duck), but we tried the turkey one. We especially like that turkey is the #1 ingredient in these. Plus, it's a fairly simple ingredient list, which we always prefer. We can break it down here: turkey, potatoes, vegetable glycerin, natural flavors, salt, distilled vinegar, natural smoke flavor, and then colored with paprika. We're not thrilled with the salt and vinegar, but at least they're further down the ingredient list (for those who don't know, ingredients are listed in the order of quantity).
Usability:
Earlier we talked about hard and soft jerky, and these chews are soft. We like that a lot since that means no pointy, sharp edges. The pieces are big enough for large dogs, but easily torn into pieces for smaller pups. Great size and texture.Origin:
Made in the U.S.A!Cost:
These chews are a little on the pricey side, but you get a lot (the True Chews in turkey flavor is about $17 on Chewy.com and the sirloin flavor is only $14). The bag is 12 ounces, but we counted 39 pieces! And, as we said earlier, they're good size pieces. Depending on how you treat, these will last you awhile.Rating:
We brought in a whole canine crew to test these out and all the dogs loved them, big time! Whenever we held out a piece, every dog would latch on to snatch it and then run off with it. They each devoured it in no time. Soooo, that said, we can say with a high degree of confidence, that True Chews are a doggie pleaser. We'll definitely be adding this to our regular rotation of doggie treats! Four enthusiastic paws up!Disclaimer: As a Chewy influencer, we received this product for free so we could sample it.
