Halo's small breed kibble is currently available in just one flavor: chicken. |
Ingredients:
This blend of Halo has Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to support healthy skin and a shiny coat. It also has added DHA Omega 3 that is said to maintain healthy brain function.
The first dozen ingredients are chicken, eggs, pea protein, oats, vegetable broth, pearled barley, chicken fat, whole peas, chicken liver, salmon, flaxseed, and salmon oil. This mix has no meat by-products or chicken meal and is void of artificial flavors, colors and preservatives.
The small breed kibble is perfect for tiny dogs. |
Usability:
This is a tinier kibble than the usual Halo (which is already pretty small) and is shaped like flat, round disks. If you have small breed dogs, this is a really nice size for little mouths. If, however, you have a dog who tends to gulp his food down, I'd stick to the standard size (since it's easier for a little piggy pup to inhale this food fast since it's smaller). Overall, though, it's a great size for little ones.
Origin:
Made in the United States.

Hey! This stuff is good! |
Rating:
We loved this food and the dogs ate every last piece of it. We give the Halo Small Breed kibble an enthusiastic four paws up! This food will be added to our rotation and we're anxious to try out some other Halo flavors, as well.
