My dog says he stumbled across a wonderful company! The Living Christmas Tree Company will deliver a live, potted tree to your home for you to enjoy during the holidays; and then take it back to the nursery after the festivities have passed. You can even "adopt" a tree, which means the same tree will return to your home year after year (and you can see how it has grown!).
This is a great way to bring sustainable living into your life. It is eco-friendly and a wonderful way to respect nature (who said trees have to be cut down in their prime just to be tossed out two weeks later, anyway?).
