Blindness is no setback for animals

My dog says he just discovered a great website dedicated to the care of blind horses. The people who host the site also operate an animal sanctuary. Rolling Dog Ranch in Montana is home to blind horses, deaf dogs, and other loving creatures with neurological or orthopedic disabilities.

Animals with a physical or mental disability are still amazing companions. Over the years, my family has adopted four blind dogs and one deaf one. They got around remarkably well and possessed all the same great attributes as our other dogs—they were affectionate, playful, and ever so grateful.
